Exploring Above Vashist

Coming from Australia, it has been a bit of a shock to have the horizon completely filled up by giant valley walls. Once you think you have reached the top, there is always another peak behind it. We have sadly not reached a mountain top peak yet, but we did do some exploring high up and found some spectacular mountain scenery and a friendly family of white dogs.

After over two hours of only going vertically, we reached an area which looked like a large nature park with various large trees, stream crossings and the odd herd of goats.

We saw one tent set up for maybe a goat herder and considered staying the night as it was so peaceful.

On the way back down, we were befriended by a family of white dogs of all different shapes and sizes.

It was a good decision to come back that day as the whole of the following day, that horizon could barely be seen through all the fog and rain.
